Janelle Barlow, PhD

Dr. Janelle Barlow is first and foremost highly creative. She’s put that creativity to work in her books, her speeches, and programs. She is an International Partner for Management Strategies and has been working with our clients in Asia since 1985.
Janelle is the former president of the Global Speakers Federation, and named A Legend of the Speaking Industry. She is the author of the bestselling A Complaint is a Gift, and co-author of Branded Customer Service – The New Competitive Edge. Janelle’s passion is in service branding and complaint handling, two areas she considers to be both central to business success and extremely complex while looking on the surface to be very simple.
At the moment she is using her creativity to look at how the Coronavirus Pandemic can be put to creative use. She is currently finishing up her next book, We’re All in Covid-19 Together, A New Customer Service Paradigm for the Pandemic Era.
Janelle has worked with companies across Europe, North America, and Asia for the last 30 years. Janelle earned her Ph.D. at the University of California at Berkeley where she studied both political science and education. She has two master’s degrees, one in international relations and another in psychology. She’s earned her Street Smarts as an entrepreneur.

HOW WILL I LEARN?
Delivered via Zoom over a 3-hour period, the learning sessions will be an interactive combination of discussions, group work, presentations and activities.
